Cannot beat the price - FREE! Learned a lot bout herbs I have never released existed and what ones would do well in my area. Will be trying some new herb pots come spring! Well with adding to your digital library!
We've decided to grow our own vegetables and herbs that are either our favorites or aren't always available where we live. This and several other books we purchased were a great help. Now if the 'endless series' of typhoons would let up, our modest but burgeoning garden will eventually yield the bounty this book helped us get started!

I truly enjoyed this book. I have often wondered how people used to use healing herbs as well a culinary herbs in past times. This book is a wealth of information on that subject. I am a gardener and also enjoyed learning how to grow herbs, process them and use them. It is a true gold mine of information.
What I like the most ab out this book is that it was written in the early 20th Century, around 1912. While there is SOME very good information about herbs and how to grow and use them, don't take this book as "gospel". Lots of things have changed since 1912, But I still enjoyed reading it, especially the section on the herbs themselves. If you have issues with old fashioned phrases and words, this might not be for you. Otherwise, it is a good history of farming and gardening.
Excellent book for the herb enthusiast. Stated my garden and this book helped me how to harvest and use them to their full potential. After reading this book I feel like I am an expert in herbs now. I use my heron everything now.
